Love set an FBS single-season record with his 11th run of 50 yards or longer, and totaled 101 yards and a touchdown despite not playing most of the fourth quarter in Stanford's Big Game win over Cal.
Before the nation's leading rusher sat out the final 11:43, Love scampered for a 57-yard scoring touchdown in the third quarter. It was his FBS-leading and school-record 12th straight game with a touchdown.
"To outrun the whole defense on one-and-a-half ankles was unbelievable," head coach David Shaw said.
Love's nine games with 100 yards rushing was third-most in Stanford history.
